150 Acres of Row-Crop (Tomatoes), Tranquillity, CA. This single-set row-crop system sits on 66” beds, with 15-mil Netafim Tape buried 12” beneath the soil. This system provides extremely efficient irrigation and fertigation abilities for the farmer to irrigation his seasonal crops for up to 10 years before replacing the tape. Systems like these are made highly uniform by the use of pressure reducing valves and careful engineering. Subsurface irrigation helps with weed control and proving water and nutrients directly to the root-zone in a quick and efficient manner.
